BACKGROUND

We know that women with diabetes can have a higher risk of
problems in pregnancy, for both mum and baby.

There is a lot of information about how women with diabetes can prepare
for pregnancy, but the information does not talk about the challenges of becoming
pregnant again after a baby has died in a previous pregnancy or in early life.

This study will try to understand what it was like to become pregnant again after baby loss.

Research Summary: About Me

RESEARCH SUMMARY

By understanding both parents’ experiences and health professional perspectives during this time,
we aim to make recommendations for good practice that will help improve future care offered after a baby loss
to support parents and health professionals looking after them.
